2010/01/02   Our American friend, Jason, Medea and I are going to a one day trip today.

This is the first time that we invite a foreign friend to go out for fun.

Therefore, we made a plan last night and hoped Jason will like it.

Meeting in front of  Uncle Sam at 8:00 a.m. is really exhausting, expecially we stayed up

last night.

Each of us felt asleep in the morning, but we still looked forward to the great movie "Avatar",

which we were going to see at 10:20 a.m.

We took the 921 bus to Yongning station, and then took the MRT to Ximen station.

When we arrived at Ximen station and went to the theater, it was just 9:10 a.m.

However, lots of people were lining up to buy the tickets and we were afraid that we

couldn't get the tickets.

Foutunately, we bought three tickets and had pretty good seats.

After buying the tickets, we went to a KFC and had the breakfast.

I felt like that the breakfast in KFC suits Medea and I.

I like the milk tea.

Both Jason and I ordered the milk tea, but Medea prefered to choose the hot coffee.

Medea told me that the hot coffee in KFC is better than that in McDonald's.

Ok, let's finish our breakfast ant go to the theater, it's 10:05 a.m. now.

These are out tickets.  We bought the 3D edition tickets.  They are much more expensive

than the formal edition tickets.  It costs about 11 U.S. dollars.

We must put the 3D glasses on.  Are we handsome?  Jason said that the 3D glasses are

very popular used in theaters in American, but it's our first experience to wear 3D

glasses in a theater.

Medea looks like a purple Bat Man!  Ha~Ha~

Let's enjoy the movie!  Avatar is a very long movie--160minutes.

What a great movie Avatar is!  It touched my heart deeply!

But wearing the 3D glasses for 160 minutes made our eyes very tired!

Remember, the name of the theater is 國賓, and that means "the guests of the country".

Jason loves Chinese culture a lot, so we went to a Beijing food restautant and enjoyed

many kinds of North Chinese traditional food there.

The name of the restaurant is "One Dragon".

My family and I love the amazing food in the restaurant very much!

We hope Jason will love the food, too.

Jason is eating the sour-spicy soup and beef steam dumplings.

Do they taste good?

Eating in "One Dragon" restaurant has become a habit for us when we went to Ximen station

every time.  The decorations there are filled with Chinese styles.

Neo and Medea have married with each other about three years, the love between us

is becoming stronger and stronger.

Jason, which one do you like the most?  I think that you like them all.

The flour pan cake is my favorite food in "One Dragon".   People have add the sweet-noodle

source and onions on it before eating the pan cake.  Oh, it must onlt exist in paradise!

The flavor and the taste are incredible.  There is no way to decribe the pan cake.

I suggest that if people want to order some food in the restaurant, never forget ordering this.

The final dish is " Red Beans on woks pan cake".  It's the best dessert in the restaurant.

The pan cake is not offered on weekends, but the chef broke the rules for us.

Thank you, chef!

I ate three pieces of the pan cake .  Jason and Medea ate two and half pieces of the pan

cake.    Jason said that if he eats one more piece, he will be not able to walk!

Too full!

I don't know another American friend of us,Brown, like North Chinese food or not,

but if we have the chance, maybe we can take Brown here and have the big meal.

After having our lunch, it's 2:30p.m.   We took the MRT to Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall,

where is Jason's favorite place to visit.

Here is our country father, Doctor Sun Yat-sen's statue.

Sun Yat-sen's standing statue.  Both of Jason and I love him more than Chiang Kai- Shek.

Jason also told me many histories about American former prisents.

He is a learned man!

Jason asked me a question that I didn't know how to answer him.   Most Chinese

characters are written from left to right, but why the characters are written

from right to left on this tablet?   I can just tell him that it's our habit......

It's a good question that I couldn't answer him?

Could anybody help us?

Here are our national flag and Taipei 101.   Jason, Brown and many foreign teachers

of Uncle Sam went to the Taipei country club where is near Taipei 101, and appreciated

beautiful fireworks on December, 31th.

I have explained the meaning of the national flag, and I wonder Jason remember the meaning or not?

At 4:00p.m. ,  guards there had a ceremony and we saw it fortunately.

All of the guards are tall, thin and handsome, but not as handsome as Jason and Brown.

The guards were playing guns and they are highly skilled in it.

Are there any guards do the same thing in White House?

After watching the show, we walked around everywhere in the hall.

Jason was interested in the history of our country father.

I was surprised that he can read " the three principles of people" which was written

in Russian.

While sitting on the bench at 5:00 p.m., we decided to go to the Longshan Temple and worship

the gods.

When we arrived at the Longshan Temple station, it rained.

We still worshiped there and I introduced many gods in the temple to Jason.

Finally, I bought Jason and Brown two charms and wished them a good luck.

Do you like your charm, my friends?

It's a pity that we forgot taking photos in Longshan Temple.

Then,we went to a shop to eat dinner at 6:10 p.m.

The famous food--rice pudding and milky fish meat ball soup are delicious, too.

They are very special foods in Taiwan.

Jason like the vegetable(onion?) in the rice pudding very much.

I hope that Jason had a good time today, and maybe Brown can come with us next time.

Jason and I made a deal that if Medea and I are able to go to America some day, he would

like to took us to visit many places for fun.  I whole-heartedly hope that day will come soon.
